PB Products Hollow Spliceable Mainline is a revolutionary hollow mainline developed specifically for knotless splicing. Constructed from 16 interwoven yarn strands, it features a unique hollow core that allows strong and reliable connections without knots.
This design enables seamless, knotless connections to unleaded leaders such as Silk Ray or snag leaders like Hollow Kevlar — even between different leader materials. By eliminating traditional knots, you avoid thickened sections and weak points, ensuring optimal performance of the PB Products Hit & Run system.
The line is precisely engineered to achieve a specific gravity of 1.4, making it heavier than water and ensuring excellent sinkability. Integrated PTFE (Teflon) strands provide added density and durability, while robust PE strands maintain high tensile strength.
